In 2022, Flinders University in Australia published a new landmark research study, showing the REAL damage a teflon pan can cause to your family and health.

The results were startling.

The study found that even a single small scratch on Teflon-coated pans could release approximately 9,100 plastic particles directly into the food you are feeding your family.

In cases where the coating was more significantly compromised, the number of dislodged particles could skyrocket to millions.

Specifically, if the Teflon coating was broken, up to 2.3 million microplastics and nanoplastics could be released into the environment—and into the food being prepared.
